This 1836 log cabin is located in Bloomfield Township at 1482 Lone Pine Road. In 1845, it was the property of William D. Craig. The lot was identified as No. 62 in 1853. Today, the log cabin is 18 feet wide and 24 feet in length, with round log construction. The floor and interior walls are of pine boards. There is a ladder to the loft and a trap door in the floor, leading to the subterranean area under the cabin. The cabin was remodeled in 1936. Today, a brick fireplace dominates the west wall of the cabin.

The Bloomfield Historical Society and the Bloomfield Township Government Office are looking for a new location for this log cabin, as the property has been sold and the building will be razed.
