The Bloomfield Historical Society created a video presentation to commemorate when French Aristocrat Alexis de Tocqueville passed through Bloomfield Township in the early 1830’s. The video centers on de Tocqueville’s reminiscences of his long ago visit. The presentation has been shown on the local cable channel and at the Bloomfield Township Public Library many times. Hollywood actor Don Harvey plays the lead role on location at the E.L Johnson Nature Center, Kirk in the Hills Church, and the Bloomfield Township Public Library.
